You can call me Mrs. Driver!

The wedding was perfect! I couldn't have imagined having a more perfect wedding- it was beautiful, it ran smoothly and I had a great time! Before the wedding I was getting sooo stressed out- you can ask anyone :) but on the actual wedding day I was so calm-it was wonderful. I had fun getting ready and I was so anxious to see Nate. The ladies who put everything together did such a great job and when I finally saw the whole thing put together I just started crying because I couldn't believe it was MY wedding! Then when I saw all of the people we love there to be a part of the wedding, walked down the aisle with my dad, and saw Nate I cried some more, of course!!

Right before the ceremony started is when I really started to get antsy, Marc (our pastor) came in to tell me it was almost time and I had about 10 min until it all started and I just kept thinking about how I was the luckiest girl in the world, because I got to marry Nate. He is just so wonderful and I thank God that he put me with him. The ceremony was great. I was calm, but excited! The reception was a blast, there were so many people there! I am so thankful that we got to share that day with all of the people we love so much. We are so blessed to have friends and family to support us and be a part of our lives! It was almost overwhelming because it seemed like everyone we talked to had done something so sweet for us and I wanted to tell everyone how much it meant to us what they had done or how happy we were that they made it to our wedding. We had people at the wedding that were so generous and helped make the wedding so wonderful, some our family friends gave us our wedding invitations, decorated for the wedding, a family friend made our wedding cakes, ect. Those are HUGE things!! We just hope that we are able to show everyone how much we appreciate their love and support!!!

Ok- I need to mention the honeymoon. IT was so fun! We went to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and it was just beautiful. We got in on Saturday and had to leave Tuesday but we had a blast. I am going to tell some more stories about the honeymoon and wedding but I have to go help Nate put up his new ping pong table (that is his wedding gift from me :) he bought me my wedding jewelry and I got him a ping pong table lol my gift is not near as sweet but he is so excited!)

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

With 3 days left, this is on my mind! Of course I have something new and blue, but nothing old or borrowed! My dress is new and my garter has blue on it- tomorrow my day will be dedicated to figuring out my old and blue items for the wedding! I know it is not a huge deal, but I kind of want to have it.

Tomorrow I pick up my wedding dress, and I think I am finally finished making decisions for the wedding, YEAH!! (It is about time lol)

I have to talk about my bachelorette party for a moment... I really do have the greatest friends! They put so much thought and effort into the party, from the colors to the clothes and agenda, it was perfect. Everyone at the party wore pink and black, they had the cutest cake for me! I am going to attach a picture and you won't believe it but Celice and Meredith made it, they are so talented! We had the lingerie shower and I got some really cute things, then we went to Pete's Piano Bar for my last night out on the town as a single lady! It was so great, my friends did everything possible to make it a great night and it was. They also made a video of Nate answering questions about his favorite food, our most embarrassing moment, who will clean the most ect.. they would pause it and see what my answer was and see if our answers matched up-it was so cute! We did pretty good! The two we got wrong were "if Shelby were a Disney Princess who would she be, and what is Shelby's favorite thing about Nate"

Until next time!!

10 days to go!!

WOW, I can't believe I am getting married next week! I am actually awake right now because I can't sleep. I came home and laid down because I need to get some sleep before work tomorrow but my mind is racing with things I have to do, and thinking about how close the wedding really is. I wish it would already be here!!

I have to brag on Nate a little bit in this blog post, he has been wonderful recently when it comes to the wedding stuff! I was getting completely stressed out, so he sat me down and we made a list of things that needed to get done. The next day he called me with a ton of them checked off the list and we are so close to being finished with all of them! lol, I know I put some things off ;) When I get stressed out, I do the worst thing possible- I stop doing all of the stuff that needs to get done, I guess I just get overwhelmed.

So, with 10 days left until I get married, I have been thinking a lot about everything and what a big decision Nate and I are making. But, it does not scare me at all about getting married and spending the rest of our lives together, that sounds perfect! I can't wait to be with Nate everyday, and live together, and make decisions together-we have so much fun together! I love being with Nate, he really is my best friend! One thing that does scare me though, is everyone watching me walk down the aisle and kissing in front of 250 people!! :0 Nate and I are not very affectionate in public, we do hold hands but nothing more than that really.... there was one time when Nate bought me this great pair of shoes and I was so excited, so I gave him a kiss at the register. Afterwards, we were both embarrassed because that is not the norm for us lol-so the idea of kissing in front of everyone and it being such an intimate moment really freaks me out! Of course, it means so much for all of our family and friends to share that time with us, so it will be great!

I will update soon! (hopefully before the wedding)

17 days to go!!

I can't believe it, 17 DAYS TO GO!! It is coming so fast and I am so excited, nervous and a little overwhelmed... I can't wait until we are married and we get to hang out together in our house and just relax! At the same time, I am nervous because there is so much that is going to happen in the next couple weeks and I feel like there is not enough time for it all to happen!

The house is really coming along, we have painted almost all of the house, scraped ceilings and now it is time to start working on the kitchen. The cabinets will be painted white, cabinets are getting raised about 6 inches tomorrow night and we are getting new counter tops. We got all new appliances and they are beautiful!

I don't think I have made a post about my new job yet! I got a job at Range Resources in Fort Worth . It is an oil and gas company-they primarily focus on natural gas. I am working in the communications and investor relations departments. I really enjoy it so far, I have been working on the publication they put out every 4 months, but once that goes out I will be doing more stuff with internal communications and investor relations...

Until next time!

Master Bedroom dilemma..

This summer has just been flying by, so much has happened already and there is still so much left to do! I have not update in a while because of how busy I have been. We have been working on the house non stop and I have been looking for paint colors for all rooms in the house. It is very hard to choose paint colors and even though it is not permanent I do not want to change it...

Here is my master bedroom dilemma...I can not figure out what to paint this room! The furniture includes: Black canopy type bed, white armoire, black night stands and all white bedding. I be live the only colors that would work are blues, grays and white or tans.... I am so overwhelmed by this! I want the room to be calm and beautiful, with a very classic look. Not too modern, but a little modern and still classic at the same time. If you have any ideas, please let me know!

Until Next time, I will leave you with a few bedroom photos I love!

Can anyone tell me whose bedroom this last photo is???

Move in Day!

Well technically we are not moving into the house-Nate will probably move in a few weeks from now, but we closed yesterday morning! YEAH!!

It was so exciting to finally get the house and be able to go over there whenever we wanted. We closed yesterday morning in Plano and our realtor brought us congratulations cupcakes and a balloon, and our lender brought us a house warming gift. After we closed we stopped to get a pizza and we ate lunch on the floor with no electricity (and no air conditioning) but it was perfect. We put a towel on the floor, ate our pizza out of the box and had our first meal at the house! :)

We have been working on it for a day and a half now, cleaning, scraping ceilings and trying to get it ready before the wedding, which is in 5 weeks! I can not believe it is so close, I get more excited everyday.

I will put up some pictures of the progress soon, but the pics below are of us going into the house the first time (as owners) and eating lunch...

wedding flowers

I know I posted earlier today, so if you have not read it yet scroll down and read! I mentioned that I met with my flower lady and I thought I would post some pictures of the flowers we chose. It is really a fantastic deal on my end because I have 3 ladies helping me plan this wedding who are just wonderful! The lady who is focusing on the flowers is able to get flowers for me from a wholesale flower place in Fort Worth so we looked today for a while, came up with a few ideas and now we have a list of flowers to go buy a few days before the big day! These are just a few of the flowers we really liked that stayed within our price range :)

(by the way we aren't using all of these colors-some of these were just the best pictures I could find)

The above flowers are called Lipstick Roses, and we are actually going to use these in the wedding-lipstick is the specific color of them...

I loved these peonies, we are going to use a few in my bouquet but that it it...they are pretty expensive!

Snap Dragons..We will probably get them in a white, they are neat flowers...we saw bouquets that had the snap dragons in them but the florist had torn off each flower so it wasn't tall like the picture you see.

These are called Dendrobium orchids and they are just beautiful!
Well there are many other flowers I could show you but it is time for me to go to bed! Until next time!

I can't believe it is already June!

Gosh it has been a while since I have updated, and it is definitely not because I am too busy because school is out and I don't have a job right now! I also can't believe it is June already! :) I have not been spending my days on the couch though, the wedding is taking up most of my time. It is a little over a month and a half away (I can't believe it!!) and all of the final details are needing to be decided. The past few weeks I have decided on the cakes for the wedding, decided on invitation design and received them, I am working on wedding programs, I ordered all of the candle stands for the wedding and these bead things for the reception, and today I met with the lady who is working on all of the flower arrangements to choose flowers.

About two weeks ago, Nate's aunt threw a party/shower for us and it was so much fun. She did such a great job with everything and it turned out perfectly. Nate got a ton of tools which he is very excited about (things I have no idea what to do with!). He got a reciprocating saw, circular saw (i think that's what it is called) a sander (I know how to use that one!), some other saw that I can't think of, tool box, tools ect. Needless to say he is thinking of all the things he can build right now! Oh! I almost forgot, we got a grill! It was funny because the next day we went to the store and Nate got an apron and chefs hat with the Dallas Cowboys logo on them so he will be ready to grill out the minute we move in :)

I got tons of great stuff also like a crock pot, house cleaning gift certificate, cooking pans, towels, china and much much more- I can't wait to use everything!!

That's about it for now-I will update again soon!

House Inspection and Pictures

Well our house inspection went great. The inspector found a few minor issues but nothing serious. One funny thing he found was that our dishwasher works great but it won't open! I guess the latch is broken, so we may just have to get a new dishwasher. I am glad there were no major issues though. I took a lot of pictures that day, and took measurements of everything, the inspector probably thought I was crazy because of how many pictures I took!

So there are a few changes we are going to make, such as scrape the ceilings, paint, new carpet in the two guest bedrooms, get rid of the above ground pool, new counters (eventually) and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! We will probably have a cleaning party, so anyone is welcome :)

This is our master bedroom, on the other side of the room we have a bay window which is really pretty!

This is the front of the house, I didn't realize until I got home it is the only one I got-but you can see the people before us did a nice job with the yard.

My favorite room of the house! It is the 2nd living and eat in kitchen area, I love the windows in this room!!

View from the kitchen to the living, as you can see there are the green counter tops and dishwasher that does not open :)

This is the formal dining and living area, it is the first room when you walk in the front door-there is another large indow on the wall next to the front door also.

A few engagement pictures for you to see...

A few of my favorite engagement pictures...

Before I forget, our engagement announcement will be in the Fort Worth Star Telegram on Sunday May 24th. (I will make note of the specific picture being included)

The picture above is at the table where Nate proposed!

This is the picture that will be in our engagement announcement.

I will update on the house after the inspection tomorrow~

We got a house!

Finally! Our offer was accepted on a house, some of you may know we were having a difficult time finding a house because so many others are looking at houses right now. I mentioned this in another post, but there were so many offers on all of the houses we liked. On Thursday our offer was accepted on a house in Keller and I am so excited! This Thursday we are getting the house inspected and if that goes smoothly (if there are no huge problems, and the house is not going to fall down) then it is ours! :)

Until next time!

BeCentsable.net

This morning while I was getting ready for class I was watching the CBS early morning show and they had these two ladies on the show who created this website. They basically said they were tired of paying so much for groceries and decided to change the way they were grocery shopping. After they researched and became expert grocery shoppers basically they created this website that completely focuses on coupons and saving money! They went to a few different stores and at one store the total was about $79 and after all of their coupons the paid $29!! It was so neat because they researched everything you could possibly research about saving money, what coupons stores will take and which products you can use multiple coupons on and possibly get for free because of your combination of coupons.

I found out that when you have a coupon from the newspaper, for example $1 off of Colgate products, and a grocery store is having a sale on Colgate products you can combine the coupons! The only time you can't combine would be like taking two of your Kroger or tom thumb specific coupons and doubling up. I was pretty excited about this website, so I encourage all of you to check out this website, and also coupons.com updates their list of coupons every single day!

Honeymoon Booked!

I know, I posted twice tonight but I have been meaning to put this up for a few weeks. I have just been so busy with school, my past 3 weeks or so have been jam packed with school, projects (big projects... 26 page paper, 12 pages, and a biology research paper that is very time consuming, and of course finals are about to be here) In addition to school Nate and I have been looking more for houses... no luck though :( In case some of you don't know, we have put an offer on about 4 houses and almost on 3 more but they sold before we got a chance. I will not get discouraged though, it just means there is a specific AND wonderful house that is supposed to be ours!!!

Anyways, as some of you know because of the timing of the wedding, we are not able to go on the honeymoon we had planned on. Carroll's football stuff moved up to the week after our wedding and so we have to make it a 3 day weekend instead of going to Eldorado Royale in Mexico. But it is ok because we are going to have a blast anyways and we will get to go on a trip 6 month or a year down the road.

We are going to stay in Dallas at the W-Victory Hotel http://www.starwoodhotels.com/whotels/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1521

We are staying in The "Cool Corner Room" -weird names for all the rooms. But it is windows from floor to ceiling and we are on a corner, hence the name. Our view will be downtown Dallas!
I am excited, it is a neat hotel and we plan on laying out at their pool (on the 16th floor!) and relaxing for a few days.

Take a look at the pictures on the website, it is a really nice hotel!

Advertising to Children

I recently had to write a paper for my media law and ethics class. We had to choose a topic that in our opinion was an ethical issue in the media. I chose advertising and targeting children in the media. I am posting this because the information I found was astounding and although I know the media affects children, I never realized that there are specific companies targeting children because they know how vulnerable they are. I initially chose the topic because I had heard about Mattel creating a Shopping Barbie. This particular barbie came with a register and a MasterCard to swipe all her purchases, I think this is horrible because it teaches children while they are developing their perception and opinions of the world that it is right to take your MasterCard (the specific brand and logo on the card) to spend money. They associate barbie, a toy that they love with MasterCard. It is very clever of MasterCard...

I know everyone would agree that media and advertising in some ways influences us as adults, I mean I would be lying if I said that seeing a beautiful woman who is thin on TV does not make me a little jealous, or make me a little more critical on my own body and appearance. This is not the only area that the media and advertisers are targeting children now, they have developed advertising plans completely targeting children from 2 years old to middle school age. Advertisers target children indirectly with food advertisements, soda ads, movie ads and even cigarette ads which really shocked me. In my research I found that cigarette advertisers place ads in magazines where they know children and teens will see even though the actual magazine is not intended for children and teens. The advertisers are very intelligent, they have methods of tracking circulation and readership so they are able to identify their audiences and age groups, interests ect, by doing this they can find out how many children read a specific magazine that is intended for their older siblings (for example) and place cigarette ads in them.. Another shocking piece of information I found was that advertisers are teaming up with child psychologists now to find out what areas children are the most vulnerable in, what they are interested in and what celebrities they are the most interested in so that they can use those celebrities to promote certain products that children will be drawn to even though they are not old enough for the product or won't be able to purchase the product until they are older. The goal is to draw them in while they are young and make a product appealing so that when the child is older, they will immediately be drawn to the initial brand they were introduced to, this is called brand loyalty. Marketers trying to create brand loyalty is all over the place, I could go on and on about this but I am going to leave you with a few things I found and you can decide for yourself how you feel.

-James McNEal, Author of a book on Marketing to Kids said “Brand Marketing must begin with children. Even if a child does not buy the product and will not for many years…the marketing must begin in childhood.”

-USA Today printed this article, a "how to"-6 marketing strategies for marketing to children
http://www.usatoday.com/money/advertising/2006-11-21-toy-strategies-usat_x.htm

-According to the American Psychological Association, children lack the cognitive skills and abilities of adults and do not critically comprehend advertisements the same way adults do, children tend to believe advertisements are truthful and accurate.

-In 2007, according to the APA $2 billion was spent on advertising to children

There was so much more info, so I suggest looking into it more- and being careful what kids around you are exposed to, I didn't even touch on the studys focusing on the results of the media on children!

Kids say the funniest things!

I have to tell you all about the girls I kind of nanny/help tutor them ( they call me their nanny which is funny because I used to have a lady I called nanny and she was a mom who made quilts, baked, decorated wedding cakes and throws cookie decorating parties. She is a much better nanny than I am!) But anyways, there are four girls, Rivers the youngest, then Mandy, Ryleigh and Shalah. They are such a joy to be around, not just the girls but also their wonderful mom Jenny. I could go on and on about them and what a wonderful family they are and how much I love them so I have to just get to the point! The two youngest girls amaze me with the imagination they have, but especially Rivers the youngest. Rivers ( 6 yrs old) has a huge imagination and sometimes will tell me things that are so off the wall, and she is so serious! I love it! One day she asked why I was not getting a house with a pool, because she said they are very cheap and if the house does not already have one, you just need a couple shovels...she offered to help dig the pool! :)

Anyways, the most current story I have was when I was in the kitchen with her. She began by telling me it makes her sad that she can't read the big books and she only gets to read the short ones..so I told her that that's why we read the short ones and after practicing those enough you get to move up to the longer books. Apparently I was not understanding so she continued to say I want to read the big books, with the big words. She said, " I just really wish I could read the curse words like adults can." You can imagine my shock! So I ask her twice about it, then I told her I did not like that she wanted to read curse words (by this time Jenny was in there just as confused as I was). Next she tells us that she will show us the only curse word she knows and I am still just so shocked that she even knows how to spell them! Finally she walks in, and writes an A for us... after a few moments Jenny said, "Rivers do you mean CURSIVE?! " And of course that's what she wanted to read!

That was a pretty long story, I could make a whole blog about these girls and the fun times I have with them! I will post about the other girls also it would be way too long of a post to write about all four, there is so much to say about them!

Here is a picture of Rivers that definitly fits her personality!

wedding update...

When I started this blog my intention was to update everyone on my wedding but so far it has been posts on anything from the wedding to random things that happen to me throughout the week. So I decided I would update you all on wedding stuff! This past week was spring break for Nate and I so we got our engagement pictures done in downtown Fort Worth, I love downtown pictures with the street signs and building in the background, they are my favorite. We went on Thursday afternoon and it was a lot of fun. We are definitely not models but we sure did have fun pretending, we were walking down the streets having a photographer tell us how to pose, kiss ect.. it was pretty hilarious.

The three most comical pictures were:

1. Nate kissing my neck-the photographer kept telling him to kiss my neck and for me to be serious, this was never going to work. Not only because it was kind of weird, but when I get uncomfortable I laugh alot!
2. Serious Pictures- we are not good at these! I can smile and that's about it, finally he would say, "ok..serious but NOT angry!"
3. Nate dipping me in the streets- its cute in pictures and sweet but it was not cute for us at all! First of all it made me nervous and I thought Nate was going to drop me so I was really tense and wouldn't lean back enough, then I would start laughing and that made it worse! So those pictures look like Nate is attacking me or trying to kiss me against my will.

To view our engagement pictures go to www.knightphoto.com click on the link storefront (top-right 3rd link to the right) next scroll down to the more on the bottom left and then you should see my name with our picture next to it.

BTW, I got my dress in! It fits perfectly and I love it even more than I did when we bought it.

Garage Sale Shopping!

Well I have not updated in a while, I kept meaning to but I have been so busy! So, first about the garage sale shopping... Nate and I went last Saturday at about 7am. We had so much fun with each other, he is a fantastic garage sale shopper. He found the good finds and got the good deals! The first place we went was an estate sale in Colleyville, the house was abandoned and we had to search through gobs and gobs of things.. I got a few vases, but then Nate saw something he knew I wanted but would not pay for and I could not have been more excited! Nate saw a kitchen aid mixer in the corner of the room and it had all the tools and bowl. So we asked the lady how much and she said $20 for everything, including the vases!! She told us she was not sure if it worked so we took it to his school and took it into the locker room to try it out and it worked perfectly! After a bit of cleaning, a few washes in the dishwasher it was beautiful and later that week I made him a cheesecake with it! So, now I have a kitchen aid mixer and I never thought I would get one, it is a creme/yellow color because it is older but it is better than new to me because it is such an awesome find! We found some very pretty platters, and then at our last garage sale of the day Nate found reindeer to put in our yard at Christmas.. at first I said no, but it broke my heart to see him leave without the reindeer so we turned around and got them. All of the reindeer and the sleigh for $25, you can't really beat that. We also got a brand new light fixture for an entry way or maybe above a breakfast table, its very pretty.

I got to use the kitchen aid mixer and one of the platters this past weekend for Cory and Nates combine birthday dinners, Nate wanted Cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries. It was fun because I got to use my new things but also, my niece Shannon helped me a little but so we got to spend some time together doing that. They were a hit! Everyone loved them!

Total Garage Sale purchases:

Kitchen Aid Mixer $19
4 vases $2
Crystal Platter $1
Flower Platter $1
New light fixture $10
Reindeer $25

Total Purchases: $48

tomorrow I am going shopping...

Today was a pretty good day, visited Katie and my grandma in the hospital, both are doing really well. I went to class this morning, had a break, then went back to class (biology lab) which lasted from 130-430, it doesn't matter what we are doing it never fails that she keeps us until exactly 430, I would think she wanted to go home also but apparently not! It was pretty interesting though today, we are growing E.Coli (the disease that cows were getting..mad cow disease I think) and we will see how much we can grow by next week. It is actually to test antibiotic resistance, so we gave some samples full course of antibiotics and some half, we will see what happens! This evening, Nate and I went to our Love and Respect Marriage class which was really great, we missed the last two weeks and our teachers invited us over to their house to watch the lessons we missed (lol, maybe they think we REALLY need it).

SO tomorrow I think I am going to go shopping, I probably won't get anything because I need to be saving money. I am normally not one to go shopping if I have no money but I really want to go walk around and look (it is very hard for me!), I would like to find a cute sundress, a swim suit, a good pair of jeans and a few other things so maybe if I find some good deals I can convince Nate to fund my much needed shopping trip :) I actually went to Ann Taylor the other day and tried on a few things, I love it there! They had some great jeans, shorts and a couple shirts I really liked. I would love to go start buying stuff for the honeymoon, but I want to wait and make sure all the cute spring/summer stuff is out before I go buy stuff.

Oh, I found out today that 12 of y relatives from Ohio are flying in for the wedding! I am so excited, I thought there would be a couple but I never dreamed that many would fly in! They are going to stay here for a week and just make a whole vacation out of it so that was really good news. We also put an offer on another house, we really like it but I won't go into detail unless we get it so for now I won't tell details. It could be a couple months before we find out and it could be tomorrow, it is a foreclosure so there is no rush for the bank to decide anything.

I will keep you posted!

hospital visits, baby shower and fashion show

My weekend was pretty jam packed! It all started Friday morning, my grandma went into the hospital for pneumonia... everything turned out fine she is feeling much better now. But I spent most of Friday at the hospital visiting her, then going over to see Katie a couple times (they are both in Harris Methodist FW). It is odd I have never known two people in the same hospital at the same time, I wish neither of them had to be there! So that was my Friday night, Saturday morning I woke up and went to a baby shower for a girl I have known a long time, she is just so cute! When that was over I went looking at houses all afternoon, Nate and I found a couple houses we really liked, so we will see what happens. I will definitely update on that after tomorrow, we are seeing one more house then maybe placing on offer. Saturday night again was spent at the hospital.
The Fashion show mentioned in my title was today at the Fort Worth club, it was put on by a TCU sorority, for the Women's Center of FW. It was alot of fun, Ashlea had an extra ticket so we went and walked around and looked at the auction items and then watched the fashion show. Everyone there was dressed so beautifully and we were on the 12th floor overlooking all of FW....Fancy!!There were some very cute outfits in the show, I posted some pics of the fashion show outfits above, plus a couple of dresses that were not in the show that I really liked.
Anyways, that about sums up my weekend! Nate and I are going to look at one more house tomorrow, this house looks really great on the website, its in a very nice neighborhood and it has this pretty iron fence in the back with a pond behind the house! It looks like it would be really nice for entertaining people when the weather it nice, so I will update tomorrow on the house and our decision!
**BTW,the Walgreen's on glenview is having some sales right now (I know this is random) but I got 2 sets(3 in each set) of scroll black metal candle holders for $1.75 each, they are 75% off. Nate and I were there printing pictures and getting my picture for my passport tonight. While we were waiting we walked around the store and found these really pretty candle holders. They were so cheap! SO if you want some cute new candle holders go check out Walgreen's (weird, i know but I saved alot of money!)

house update...

WELL, I have talked to some of you already but we did not get the house. Our realtor called yesterday to tell us they accepted a stronger offer but if anything changes they are going to give us a call. I was a little disappointed at first, but I am very excited about continuing to look! And all that it means is that there is a much better house out there for us! I really can't wait for me and Nate to just be married and sitting in our house together with dinner and a movie, it sounds so wonderfull!

So, because I am thinking about houses right now I will post some pictures of houses and individual rooms I love, I found some of the pictures on HGTV, Apartment Therapy, Kristen Buckingham Designs and other sites. I also like to look on real estate websites at house that are so far out of my price range, but just to look...sometimes Fort Worth, but sometimes cities I think would be really cool to live in like Boston, Seattle, cities in South Carolina, upstate New York and others (you know, the really cheap places to live haha). I also see pictures of rooms I really love and save them to my computer because I think maybe I will be able to use some of the ideas- on a much less expensive level, a more realistic one, which is fine because I can not ever imagine spending what some people do on homes but I definitly do not mind admiring their houses :) I would love to be able to (someday a long long time from now of course...) move into an older home in Downtown Fort Worth that has some of its original features (obviously not too many because I am a girl in the 21st century) and a garage you drive into behind the house..maybe in the historical districts like on Elizabeth Blvd or some of those older homes near TCU, I love those old beautiful homes that have character, but they are fixed up inside a little more modern. Every year at Christmas time my mom and I go to FW to tour the Ryan Place homes, they are so beautiful all decorated for Christmas. They are just so classy, full of character and I can just picture myself having holiday partys and sitting by the fire in my old historic home... SO if I had an endless budget and could decorate my house with it then my house might look like these pictures.. :)
